Mayweather and Marquez Weigh In To Be Number One

Today at the weigh-in for Mayweather vs Marquez a lot has been answered.

First off, Floyd did not make the agreed catch weight and came in at 146lbs. It has been reported that Floyd's contract states he will pay $300,000 per each pound over the catch weight limit of 144.

Juan Manuel Marquez weighed in at 143 lbs. Both fighters looked ripped and ready to go to war.

Floyd was the more energetic of the two dancing and throwing a few quick flurries for the crowd.

Marquez was wearing what appeared to be a green Affliction style looking T-shirt and Mayweather came in wearing grey Reebok sweats and a matching hoody.

This being a weekend of celebration for the Mexican Independence Day holiday the crowd seemed to be overwhelmingly pro-Marquez, even though the betting odds reflect the opposite.

WWE superstar Triple H was on stage and all for Mayweather. Triple H will walk Floyd into the ring tomorrow night for the fight.

Ethnic celebrities for both fighters came on stage and had a friendly war of words defending and attacking each other's fighter.

Piolin was representing Marquez and created a new dance and song to chant for Marquez.  which had the majority Latino crowd singing along.

Comedian D.L. Hugely was representing Mayweather going for the urine drinking diss jokes over and over again attacking Juan's now infamous HBO 24/7 episode where he revealed that he drinks his own urine for the vitamin benefits.

As of Friday night Mayweather is the favorite at -480 where Marquez is at +360.

On the undercard both Rocky Juarez and Chris John came in right on the dot at 126 for their rematch featherweight title bout.

Juarez was sporting a new mohawk hair style. As of Friday night John is favored +290 to Rocky at -350.

Despite the return of the last pound for pound American fighter and the greatest Mexican fighter of our generation this fight is lacking something?

It may be the economy or it may be the fact that these are two of the most technical counter punching fighters in the game but what ever the reason is there are still plenty of tickets available for this fight.
