Cubs Rookies Made to Dress Up in Silly Outfits on Final Road Trip of Season

The Chicago Cubs completed their three-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday afternoon with a 5-3 victory, but before they made the trip to the airport to head to their final stop of the regular season, the rookies had to get dressed.

No, not in suits. It was time for their "rookie road trip," meaning the veterans got to pick out silly outfits for them to wear.

Knowing the team is riding a five-game winning streak and is less than a week from playing playoff baseball, the rookies are able to just enjoy their rookie duties.
