OVER 9.5 Los Angeles Angels/Boston Red Sox:
After a wild one last night at Fenway, the Sox and Angels wrap up a three game series that could be a playoff preview. I look for a high scoring game despite two All star pitchers on the mound.

Ervin Santana (7-8, 5.52) goes to the mound for Los Angeles, and he’s had an up and down year after what seemingly was his breakout season in 2008. He’s pitched better lately, but for some reason the Angels cannot seem to buy a break playing in Fenway.

Josh Beckett (15-6, 3.82) goes for the Red Sox. Beckett’s numbers for the season have been great, but he is really sturggling as we hit the homestretch. Beckett is 1-2 with a 6.10 ERA in his last 5 starts, and has given up an alarming 9 home runs in his last 31 innings pitched.
