Twitter Reacts as David De Gea's Move to Real Madrid Collapses over Paperwork
In one of the more bizarre transfer-window sagas in recent memory, Spain's transfer window slammed shut without an announcement of David De Gea's official signing with Real Madrid.
What made the situation considerably more strange is that Manchester United and Real Madrid had seemingly agreed on a deal for the talented Spaniard, but the proper paperwork didn't reach the La Liga offices in time.

Then, as even more information trickled out over the deal's failure, there was speculation that it had to do with the LFP's inability to open the file sent to them.
"Now we are hearing that United did send the documents on time but in a format that couldn't be opened at the LFP. Windows 95?

Naturally, the entire debacle was mocked to no end on Twitter, considering it's 2015 and one can order a pizza by entering an emoji into their smart phone, but two of the biggest clubs on the planet failed at completing a transfer over paperwork or a bad file.
"If Real Madrid miss out on De Gea, will Benitez's anti-United speech this time be "I want to talk about FAX" ?

Lost amid the breakdown of De Gea's move is Keylor Navas, who was going the other way to Old Trafford as part of the proposed deal.
