Police Respond to Shooting at WWE Performance Center

Orlando police responded Monday afternoon to a shooting outside WWE's Performance Center involving a trespasser.

According to WESH.com, one person was injured in an incident that took place around 1:45 p.m. ET. The injuries and identity of the individual(s) involved have not been revealed at this time, nor is it known whether anyone related to WWE was involved in the incident. Michelle Meredith of WESH 2 News reported Monday's shooting involved another trespassing call. 

WWE later released a statement regarding the incident, per Jon Busdeker of the Orlando Sentinel:

"This guy was crazy," a witness told Shannon Butler of WFTV. "He was here a few days ago and arrested. I guess he came back!"

The victim is currently being treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center. WWE employees are currently being interviewed on the situation, according to Butler
