T.Y. Hilton Injury: Updates on Colts Star's Concussion and Return
Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reported on Aug. 31 that Indianapolis Colts star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton suffered a concussion in the team's preseason game against the St. Louis Rams on Aug. 29. According to Colts vice chair/owner Carlie Irsay, Hilton is active for the regular-season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reported on Sept. 1 that Hilton was wearing a red non-contact jersey during practice. Earlier that day, ESPN's Britt McHenry reported that Hilton was expected to complete the league's concussion protocol and be cleared for the team's fourth preseason game on Sept. 3.
Hilton recently signed a lucrative contract extension this offseason, so this setback isn't ideal. At least Indianapolis has plenty of weapons in the passing game to ease Hilton's transition back to the gridiron.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
General manager Ryan Grigson brought in a lot of talent to revamp quarterback Andrew Luck's supporting cast.
Although Hilton is Luck's favorite target—he's been targeted at least 130 times and snagged 82 receptions in each of the past two seasons—Luck has new additions in Andre Johnson and first-round pick Phillip Dorsett to turn to.
