Tim Tebow vs. Packers: Stats, Reaction and Updated 2015 Fantasy Advice
Tim Tebow's time was limited in the Philadelphia Eagles' 39-26 win over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night, but the backup quarterback likely only strengthened his chances of making the Eagles' final roster ahead of the 2015 regular season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Aside from two failed two-point conversion attempts in the first quarter, Tebow didn't get a real chance to make an impact until the fourth quarter after he entered the game for Matt Barkley. Eric Rosenthal of Page2Sports.com still ventured the stakes were fairly high for the left-hander:
"Matt Barkley led the Eagles to just one first down on 3 drives. Tim Tebow is warming up and can secure a roster spot with a good 4th Quarter
— Eric Rosenthal (@ericsports) August 30, 2015"
On his two drives, Tebow attempted two passes, the former of which went to Rasheed Bailey for seven yards and the latter of which found Raheem Mostert for eight yards. The former Heisman Trophy winner also fumbled the ball once but quickly recovered to prevent the turnover.
If Tebow and Barkley are in fact battling for the third-string QB job, then you might have to give the nod to Tebow at this point. Barkley finished Saturday 5-of-9 for 28 yards. John Clark of CSN Philadelphia posted his numbers from the last two games, which are far from impressive:
"Tim is not a gadget guy," Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said of Tebow, per ESPN.com's Phil Sheridan. "I think Tim is a quarterback, and I think he's proven that so far when he's been out here."
Whatever Philadelphia has planned for Tebow, ESPN's Skip Bayless believes his last shot to firmly eliminate any doubt as to his value is in the Eagles' last preseason game next Thursday against, ironically enough, the New York Jets:
Fantasy Outlook
Under no circumstances should you draft Tim Tebow for your fantasy football team; it's that simple.
Even in the event Tebow makes the team, which could very well happen, he'd need to supplant both Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez on the depth chart to become a viable fantasy option.
Should Tebow come in for short-yardage situations—which is the likeliest way he sees the field in 2015—he won't consistently register a high enough volume of yards or regularly score a touchdown to give you points on a weekly basis.
Maybe you could keep track of him in daily fantasy leagues in case all of the stars align and lead you to believe he'll receive a high number of snaps in a certain week.
But chances are Tebow won't be anything more than novelty act in the Eagles offense.
