Saturday evening's "dress rehearsal" preseason game was supposed to be all about young quarterbacks answering questions.

Could Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft) build on last week's performance and continue to grow as he gets ready to make his first career start in Week 1?

Could Johnny Manziel of the Cleveland Browns continue to impress enough to mount a real challenge for the starting job?

Well, after the Browns shut Manziel down for the rest of the preseason we know the answer to question No. 2 is "no."

The first quarter was all Browns and then some, A Winston pick. A 16-play Browns drive. A Travis Benjamin touchdown return.

The Buccaneers got it going in the second quarter, but after failing to complete half of his first-half passes it appears Winston will be joining Manziel in the "no" column.

Both starters returned for one drive in the second half. Josh McCown led the Browns to another touchdown. Jameis Winston, um, did not.
