Real Madrid hushed their critics very quickly on Saturday night. 

After being held scoreless in their opening Liga match, Gareth Bale scored in just the second minute in their home opener against Real Betis. 

James Rodriguez crossed a lovely ball into the Welshman's path, who nodded home to lift a bit of weight off of both his and his team-mates' shoulders.

Bale, oddly, is still being linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, as noted by the Daily Star. 

Bale got his second of the match in the waning minutes, with a fantastic strike from long-range to make it 4-0.
