Manchester United's Sam Johnstone Has Car Stolen by Thieves While in Belgium
Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone had his £40,000 black Mercedes A Class AMG stolen while he was away in Belgium, according to the Daily Mail. He was on the bench for the Red Devils in their 4-0 Champions League qualifying victory against Club Brugge on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old is the second Manchester United player to be targeted in 2015.
In February, Angel Di Maria was the subject of an attempted robbery while at home with his family, and Darren Fletcher's house was burgled in 2009 while the midfielder was away on Champions League duty.
