Mario Balotelli Bargain Claim Comes Back to Haunt 'Drunk' Jamie Carragher
Jamie Carragher has seen the error of his ways 12 months after proclaiming the arrival of Mario Balotelli as a bargain for Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers spent £16 million on the Italian in August 2014, but the former Reds defender has joked that he must have been drunk when suggesting it was a good deal for the club at the time.
"Please find me that quote & where it's from I must've been drunk if I said it!! https://t.co/0sGb6pRZAi

"Thanks Brendan! A bargain compared to Ross McCormack which I think is a fair comment!! https://t.co/mZiXUvBnLR

The former England defender might have a point about McCormack, but he's certainly happy to see the back of Balotelli as he moves to AC Milan on a season-long loan, per BBC Sport.
