Dudley Boyz Attack New Day, Send Xavier Woods Through Table in Return to Raw

The tag team division has been one of the most underrated aspects of WWE in recent months, and the tag scene just got a whole lot more interesting with the addition of one of the most legendary duos in professional wrestling.

The Dudley Boyz made their shocking return to the company on Monday night's episode of Raw following the New Day's win over the Lucha Dragons.

Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley quickly made their intentions known, delivering a 3-D to Xavier Woods:

As good as WWE's tag division is, one of the problems you can foresee is general fan fatigue; they eventually grow tired of seeing the same handful of teams facing off on every pay-per-view. WWE doesn't have an unlimited supply of compelling tag teams to keep things fresh.

The New Day and Prime Time Players have been excellent of late, but their feud has played itself out for the time being. The New Day needs a compelling foil, which is where the Dudleys come in.

Having the Dudley Boyz around might also draw new fans to the tag division, which could in turn shine the spotlight brighter on the New Day, Prime Time Players, Lucha Dragons and Los Matadores. And that would only be a good thing.
