Several Eagles Players Reportedly 'Could Be Had' at NFL Trade Deadline amid Latest Rumors

Adam WellsOct 30, 2026

Having already traded Cam Jurgens amid their five-game losing streak, the Philadelphia Eagles figure to be active leading up to the Nov. 10 trade deadline.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, a number of Eagles players with expiring contracts "could be had" with just over one week remaining before the deadline.

Breer specifically cited Marquise Brown, Riq Woolen and Dallas Goedert as contract-year players who Philadelphia might deal.

Saquon Barkley is the biggest name on the Eagles who has been bantered about as a potential trade candidate, but Breer described that as "less likely" in part because of injuries that have limited his availability this season.

It's perhaps notable that trading Barkley would also incur a $26 million dead-cap charge for the Eagles in 2027.

Breer also noted the Eagles have told other teams that defensive tackle Moro Ojomo, another player set to hit free agency after this season, is not available as they could look to sign him in the offseason.

The way this season has gone in Philadelphia already, there's no reason for general manager Howie Roseman not to test the waters to see what offers might be out there.

Brown has been a bust due to injuries that have limited him to two games. He has just two catches for 30 yards and has played a total of 53 snaps. Woolen has been more miss than hit in coverage.

Goedert has remained productive in an otherwise disappointing passing game for the Eagles. He ranks top three on the team in receptions (22), receiving yards (228) and touchdown receptions (two).

None of the three players mentioned will likely bring back a huge return, but Roseman was able to negotiate a future second-round pick from the Baltimore Ravens for Jurgens.

History has shown underestimating Roseman is not a smart bet for anyone, especially if he is trying to make moves that set the Eagles up for a quick turnaround amid what looks like a lost 2026 season.
