The Tampa Bay Rays will live to see another game in the World Series.

With their backs against the wall, the Rays beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in Game 4 of the Fall Classic in a 12-inning thriller on Wednesday, capped off by a walk-off RBI single from Ben Williamson.

Tampa Bay got on the board first, scoring a run in the bottom of the second when Chandler Simpson doubled to right field to drive in Jonny DeLuca.

The Brewers evened things up in the fourth thanks to an RBI double from Cooper Pratt, but the Rays quickly took back the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Junior Caminero scored on an error.

Tampa Bay's lead vanished almost instantly, as David Hamilton hit a solo homer to tie things up in the top of the fifth inning.

After a few scoreless innings for both teams, the Brewers showed some signs of life in the top of the ninth when Pratt got on base with just one out. Garrett Mitchell then hit a ball deep to left field, but a fantastic play from Simpson prevented any damage.

Pratt attempted to steal second and get into scoring position, but he was ruled out after a close play, ending the inning with things still tied up. Aaron Ashby came onto the mound for the Brewers in the bottom of the ninth and retired the side in order, sending things into extra innings.

Neither team could find a run in the 10th or 11th innings, but Pratt delivered the biggest swing of his life in the top of the 12th when he gave the Brewers the lead with a solo home run.

But the Rays didn't go away after the home run.

Caminero reached first base on an error, and Liam Hicks singled up the middle to put runners on the corner with no outs. DeLuca then singled to drive in the tying run and move the winning run into scoring position.

A single from Simpson loaded the bases, and Ben Williamson delivered the walk-off in the form of an RBI single to right field.

The Rays can celebrate for a moment, but they still have an elimination game to play on Wednesday night. Perhaps the momentum from the win in Game 4 will carry into Game 5.
