New Jonathan Taylor Trade Rumors Reveal Price to Acquire Colts RB Ahead of NFL Deadline

The Indianapolis Colts' asking price for star running back Jonathan Taylor on the trade market has reportedly been revealed.

According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Taylor would cost a second-round draft pick and "possibly more" in order for a trade to be finalized.

ESPN's Stephen Holder previously reported that "several teams" were showing interest in the 27-year-old ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.

The Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos are among the squads expected to consider pursuing Taylor, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jonathan Jones of The Athletic also listed the New York Giants as a potential suitor for the running back.

Indianapolis has failed to meet expectations this season, sitting at just 2-5 through seven weeks.

The Colts fired general manager Chris Ballard on Oct. 19, while head coach Shane Steichen is reportedly on the hot seat.

The team has already started to sell ahead of the deadline, as Schefter and Rapoport reported that Indianapolis traded star guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks on Tuesday.

The Colts are also "actively shopping" defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Despite Indianapolis' overall struggles this year, Taylor has been a bright spot.

The three-time Pro Bowler ranks No. 5 in the NFL with 587 rush yards this season, while his eight rushing touchdowns are tied for the most in the league. He's also made his presence felt as part of the Colts' passing attack, hauling in 17 receptions for 178 yards.

If an opposing organization is willing to part ways with a Day 2 pick as well as additional draft capital, a change of scenery for Taylor could be on the horizon.
