Brewers vs. Rays 2026 World Series Game 1 Makes MLB History with Record Ticket Prices
Game 1 of the World Series between the host Milwaukee Brewers and the visiting Tampa Bay Rays is the most expensive World Series ticket price ever, per Keith Pagello of TicketData. As of 8 p.m. ET on Friday (first pitch time), the get-in price was $2,635.
It's clear why fan interest is sky-high in the tickets, perhaps driving up the prices along the way. Milwaukee is in the World Series for the first time since 1982 and has a great chance to win its first Fall Classic ever.
The Brewers won an MLB-high 103 games this season and just went 7-1 in the National League playoffs as well. Fans have a great chance to get a glimpse at history here.

Plus, Game 1 also featured Brewers ace (and likely National League Cy Young award winner) Jacob Misiorowski taking the mound.
The previous record holder for the World Series get-in price was Game 4 of the 2016 World Series, when the Chicago Cubs hosted the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians) for Game 4 at Wrigley Field. The price was $1,809.
