Valencia vs. Monaco: Goals, Highlights from Champions League Play-off

Valencia wasted little time jumping ahead of Monaco in their Champions League play-off on Wednesday evening. 

Rodrigo hit home from point-blank range to give the hosts a quick 1-0 advantage in the fourth minute.

Rodrigo was left unmarked to hit home Sofiane Feghouli's knockdown to break a typically stout Monaco defence.

Mario Pasalic equalised for Monaco shortly after the restart, as the Chelsea man on-loan at Monaco pounced on a rebound in the box.

Daniel Parejo restored the Spanish side's lead, hitting home in the 59th minute.

Feghouli got on the scoresheet and put Valencia into a commanding position in the tie, scoring Valencia's third goal of the night to make it 3-1.
