Little League World Series 2015: Bracket, Dates and TV Schedule
While Major League pennant races usually swing into high gear in the latter half of August, they don't represent the only baseball competition that commands national attention.
The best young baseball teams in the world—all with players who are 13 years old or younger—have gathered in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to determine the best team in the Little League World Series competition.
The regionals have been completed and action in the World Series gets underway Thursday.
The competition includes eight teams from the United States and eight international teams. Both sides have their own bracket, and eventually a U.S. champion and an international champion will meet in the finals August 30.
Here's a look at the two brackets in the double-elimination tournament. All U.S.-based teams will compete against each other, while the same holds true for the international teams.

There will be no crossover games until the championship round, although once teams have two losses and are eliminated from title contention, they move to the consolation bracket, and those games can feature American teams playing international teams.
Last year, South Korea earned the Little League World Series title by defeating the Jackie Robinson West team from Chicago. The South Koreans are not represented in this year's championship, while the Jackie Robinson West team was stripped of its U.S. title for using players from outside its borders.
Ocean View Little League of Huntington Beach, California, won the championship in 2011 and was the last American team to win the title. Teams from Chinese Taipei have won 17 titles.
