Week 7 Waiver Wire Top Pickups and Drops Likely Available After Reviewing Box Scores
In most fantasy football leagues, winning requires smart in-season roster management and a bit of luck with the waiver wire. That's been especially true in 2026, as injuries have become a significant and consistent part of the fantasy conversation.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts recently joined the list of players who will be out for the remainder of the season, as he'll focus on treatment for blood clots. Davante Adams, Ladd McConkey, and Romeo Doubs were among the players who suffered injuries in Week 6.
Bye weeks have also entered the picture, and the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders will be off this week. Naturally, many managers will be looking to adjust rosters and pluck prime sleepers off the wire.
Here, we'll review recent performances and identify some top targets and drop candidates for point-per-reception (PPR) leagues.
Add: Roschon Johnson, RB, Chicago Bears

Kyle Monangai (toe) didn't practice at all before he was ruled out for Week 6. That doesn't bode well for a potential Week 7 return. As long as Monangai remains sidelined, Chicago Bears backup Roschon Johnson should have some low-end flex value.
Chicago was able to run the ball frequently against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. This allowed Johnson to see a sizeable workload while spelling starter D'Andre Swift. He finished with 13 carries for 51 yards, two receptions, 34 receiving yards, and a touchdown.
Johnson's ceiling will be somewhat limited this week against the New England Patriots, who have allowed an average of just 17.9 fantasy points to opposing backfields. Still, Johnson should have a reasonable volume-based floor.
Johnson is rostered in only eight percent of fantasy leagues.
Add: Kendre Miller, RB, New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller is in a situation similar to Johnson's. With Travis Etienne Jr. on injured reserve, Miller has a stable role in the Saints' backfield alongside Alvin Kamara.
Miller led the Saints with 70 yards on 20 carries in Week 6. He also had a pair of receptions.
While Miller's PPR floor is generally limited by Kamara's receiving role, Kamara aggravated a back injury in Week 6. If he's limited in Week 7, Miller is likely to see the bulk of the backfield work.
Like the Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't the friendliest fantasy matchup—especially if the game is played in Paris as planned. However, Miller could see a starter's workload and is only rostered in 24 percent of fantasy leagues.
Add: Tre Tucker, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

Tre Tucker remains rostered in only 47 percent of fantasy leagues, despite the fact that he has established himself as the Las Vegas Raiders' top perimeter target. While this hasn't always meant big fantasy production, Tucker came into Week 6 with four straight games of at least 7.5 fantasy points.
Tucker then proceeded to go off against the Buffalo Bills. He finished with five catches for 97 yards, two touchdowns, and 26.7 fantasy points.
Managers cannot expect Tucker to top 20 points every single week, but he has a lot of upside against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
While the Rams have stumbled to a 2-4 record, they still have a potent offense that could force Las Vegas to play catch-up on the scoreboard—not unlike the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Los Angeles' defense could also be exploitable as Jaylen Watson battled a shoulder injury and Trent McDuffie works through a groin injury.
Add: Germie Bernard, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

We highlighted Steelers receiver Germie Bernard as a high-upside sleeper last week. However, the rookie was even more productive than anticipated.
Bernard played a big role in Pittsburgh's comeback victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he's quickly earned the trust of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Against Tampa, he caught 11 of 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown.
While Bernard may not replicate his Week 6 numbers against New Orleans, he should again see a significant role. Michael Pittman Jr. is on injured reserve, while Roman Wilson is expected to miss multiple weeks.
For the time being, Bernard is Pittsburgh's No. 2 receiver opposite DK Metcalf. He'll be a very popular add this week, but he's only rostered in 36 percent of leagues right now.
