Rainy conditions at Progressive Field has caused Game 4 of the ALCS to be postponed.
The Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays will instead play on Saturday at 8 p.m. to continue the series.
The game was initially in a delay for about an hour before officials decide to make the decision to postpone.
The heavy rain had resulted in puddles forming on the warning track.
Weather has influenced the series since it shifted to Cleveland, as Thursday's Game 3 was moved up from 6 p.m. ET to 1 p.m. ET in order to avoid rain.
Before the start time of Game 4 was changed, there were conversations held regarding a potential update.
Nick Camino of WKYC-TV 3 reported Friday that the Guardians and Rays had a meeting with MLB at 6 p.m. ET to discuss the weather situation and the possibility of moving the beginning of the contest.
Cleveland holds a 2-1 series lead over Tampa Bay, securing a 7-3 victory in Game 1 before wrapping up a 3-2 win in Game 3. The Rays won Game 2 by the final score of 3-1.
The Guardians are looking to move one step closer to capturing the AL pennant and contending for the first World Series title since 1948, while the Rays are attempting to continue their journey to win the Fall Classic for the first time in franchise history.
