On the heels of Penta and Tiffany Stratton winning the Men's and Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, respectively, WWE Raw rolled into Bossier City, Louisiana, with a show headlined by the latest chapter in the rivalry between The Bloodline and 946.

What went down when those two factions squared off in a high-intensity six-man tag match?

Find out the answer to that and more in this recap of the October 12 show, including live grades and analysis.

Penta Kicked Off Raw

2 of 5
WWE: Money In The Bank

Last Time in Action: Penta won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Money in the Bank, October 11)

The triumphant Penta kicked off the show, still in celebration mode following his potentially career-altering victory Saturday night in New Orleans.

He addressed the fans, saying that if he chooses to cash in, he will be a world champion.

Je'Von Evans interrupted and joined his frequent tag team partner in the ring. Clearly still banged up from the jaw-dropping bump he took from the top of a ladder through the roof of an ambulance, The Young OG dapped up his friend and told him he was proud of him.

Bron Breakker came from out of nowhere, spearing Evans, who shoved Penta out of the way. Medics checked on the babyface as The Badass made his exit.

Top Takeaways

  • It was shocking how much this opening segment was not about Penta, despite him kicking the show off.
  • Evans showing toughness and still coming to work despite his injuries is a great call. It endears him to the fans, as we saw based on their reaction to his insistence that he be there.
  • There was not much to this segment other than re-establishing Breakker as an unstoppable force after he fell short on Saturday. While there is still time and opportunity, there are only so many of these types of segments that WWE can continue to produce before Breakker earns the reputation of a runner-up rather than the guy.

Rey Mysterio vs. Big Cass

3 of 5
Monday Night RAW

Last Time In Action: Big Cass defeated Sean Legacy (Main Event, October 8); Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee lost to Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh (Raw, October 5)

Big Cass' war with the former LWO continued Monday as he squared off with Rey Mysterio.

The Hall of Famer got clever early, outsmarting the big man, but fell victim to his strength and size advantage. The big man dominated the competition, even finding ways to stunt the offensive momentum of the former world champion.

It was an admonishment from referee Jessika Carr, an undetected kick from Dragon Lee, and a victory roll from Mysterio that proved Cass' downfall as the greatest luchador of all time, earning the come-from-behind victory.

Top Takeaways

  • Rarely pretty, this was a clash of styles for sure, but the story execution was handled well. Big Cass was protected, dominating the match and leaving little question as to who the real winner should have been. Mysterio won only after the heel's ego got the best of him and Lee earned a little revenge for his recent treatment.
  • Carr standing up to Cass and backing him down was a nice touch and something we need more of. She has the authority and should be able to flex it in matches beyond those involving Becky Lynch.
  • Is the bloom off the rose that is Cass at this point? A loss to Lee and Mysterio have seemingly hampered his momentum.

The Judgment Day Promo

4 of 5
WWE: Money In The Bank

Last Time in Action: Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch (Money in the Bank, October 11); Roxanne Perez lost the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Money in the Bank, October 11)

Liv Morgan celebrated her latest Women's World Championship victory Monday night alongside her Judgment Day family, pyro and all.

She claimed that her attention was now on becoming the first two-time Crown Jewel champion. That brought out Chelsea Green, the WWE Women's Champion and SmackDown Superstar.

The Hot Mess listened to Morgan criticize her, taking shots at her for not being a fighting champion and revealing that her backup, Money in the Bank winnerTiffany Stratton, was injured.

Green called Morgan the "placeholder girlfriend" of Dominik Mysterio before Roxanne Perez interrupted and issued a challenge for a match.

Top Takeaways

  • This was exactly what it needed to be: the introduction to a short-term program that established its tone right out of the gate. Who knows what the future holds for the Crown Jewel premium live event but if it does take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the women's Crown Jewel Championship match is set.
  • Perez interjecting herself and standing up to Green was a nice look at the increasingly confident Prodigy. A confident Perez who may or may not, eventually, look to relieve Morgan of her own title.

Chelsea Green vs. Roxanne Perez

5 of 5
Monday Night RAW

Last Time in Action: Perez lost the titular ladder match (Money in the Bank, October 11); Chelsea Green, Paige, and Tiffany Stratton lost to Fatal Influence (SmackDown, September 25)

Green and Perez battled in singles competition, the result of the confrontation that occurred moments earlier.

Green showed great fire and had the fans behind her as she took the fight to Perez, but The Prodigy ultimately seized control. When the Hot Mess fought from underneath late, she had momentum on her side.

She wiped out Raquel Rodriguez with a tope suicida on the floor, then sent Liv Morgan flying over the announce table. Red hot, she re-entered the squared circle, only to succumb to Pop Rox as Perez capitalized on the distraction and earned a big win.

After the match, Green smacked a taunting Morgan, only to endure a beatdown by The Judgment Day. The heels stood tall to close the segment.

Top Takeaway

  • Joe Tessitore added some great analysis on the headset, noting how oftentimes, being a champion makes a competitor 25-percent better, perhaps explaining Green's change for the better in recent months.
  • Perez and Green have only wrestled each other on WWE TV one other time, a May 7, 2024 NXT Championship Match. It showed as the timing and chemistry were not necessary there early on.
  • Green straight YEET'ed Morgan across the announce table. It made for a great visual and the explanation for the distraction that ultimately cost the babyface.
