Watch Tom DeLonge's Emotional Reaction to Padres Fans Singing Blink-182's 'All The Small Things'
In a defining moment for millennials everywhere, Blink 182 guitarist Tom DeLonge was treated to San Diego Padres fans singing one of his songs during Tuesday's playoff game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Going into the bottom of the eighth inning of Game 3 between the Brewers and Padres, Fox cameras showed DeLonge onscreen while the Petco Park crowd sang "All the Small Things" as it was playing over the speaker system.
DeLonge is from Poway, a San Diego suburb, a lifelong Padres fan and was sitting behind home plate for the game. His reaction to the crowd singing seemed to be very emotional.
That specific song is the Padres' version of what "Sweet Caroline" is for the Boston Red Sox, as it gets played in the eighth inning of home games.
DeLonge's presence at Petco Park is nothing new, especially during the MLB postseason. He threw out the first pitch prior to Game 1 of 2024 the NL Wild Card Series against the Atlanta Braves.
The Blink 182 guitarist and singer might be a good-luck charm for his hometown team. San Diego defeated the Braves after his first pitch.
Tuesday night saw the Padres defeat the Brewers 4-3 to keep their season alive. The two teams will play Game 4 at Petco Park on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
