Manny Ramirez Eyes MLB Coaching Role, Red Sox Legend Hit 555 Career HR
Manny Ramรญrez was one of MLB's best hitters during his playing career. Now, he's hoping to parlay that accumulated knowledge into a coaching role.

It is not the first time Ramรญrez's agent has let this be publicly known. In fact, it was almost exactly one year ago that Heyman posted the following:
"I'm available to work as a hitting coach for any of the 30 MLB teams," Ramรญrez said back in May 2025. "I'm confident I can help any team significantly improve their offense."
Ramรญrez, 54, hit .312 with 2,574 hits, 555 home runs, 1,831 RBI and a .996 OPS during his 19-year MLB career. The two-time World Series champion, 12-time All-Star and nine-time Silver Slugger would assuredly be a Hall of Famer were it not for the three separate positive tests for performance-enhancing drugs during his career.
But there's little doubt the man knew how to swing a bat at the highest level. Whether that would translate to teaching others and helping big leaguers make the necessary adjustments throughout a season is another question entirely.
