Seahawks' Jadarian Price Placed on IR with Injury, Emanuel Wilson Among Top Waiver-Wire RB Options
Fantasy managers still holding out hope for Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price to turn things around soon will need a backup plan with the rookie going on injured reserve.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Price aggravated a chest injury during practice this week that will land him on IR and keep him out for a minimum of four games.
The fantasy impact of Price's absence ensures that Seahawks backup Emanuel Wilson should be a waiver-wire target since he will get the bulk of the carries.

Other potential options that might be available right now include Keaton Mitchell of the Los Angeles Chargers and Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints.
Per Fantasy Pros, all three of Wilson, Mitchell and Kamara are rostered in under 60 percent of PPR leagues. Wilson and Mitchell are both available in more than 65 percent of leagues.
Price, the Seahawks' first-round pick in the 2026 draft, was expected to replace some of the production lost when Kenneth Walker III signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent.
Things have not worked out as planned thus far. Price has 119 rushing yards on 28 carries, but his playing time has decreased every week in part due to ball-security issues. He has lost a fumble in each of the past two games.
Wilson had already surpassed Price on Seattle's depth chart based on his 32 carries. His efficiency has left a lot to be desired with 3.4 yards per attempt and a 40.6 percent success rate.
Mitchell is in a similar position as Wilson in that his playing time has already started to increase because the original starter was not performing well.
Omarion Hampton is far from the only problem with the Chargers offense, but he's not helping with 3.9 yards per attempt on 50 carries.
Mitchell played a season-high 26 offensive snaps in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills. He had 13 touches between his carries, receptions and kickoff returns.
The Chargers are using Mitchell more than Hampton in the passing game, too. Mitchell has four catches on four targets, compared to two catches on three targets for Hampton.
Mitchell faces a tough task against the Seahawks on Sunday. After that, though, the Chargers will face the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. Those two teams rank in the bottom half of the NFL on defense by EPA per rush, with Denver last in that category.
Kamara is the hardest player from this trio to find since he is rostered in 59.5 percent of leagues right now. His stock went up on Thursday when the Saints put Travis Etienne Jr. on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.
The issue with Kamara is efficiency is no longer his strong suit, but volume should help him make up for it. He has 24 touches in two games.
New Orleans runs more offensive plays per game than any team in the league, giving Kamara ample opportunity to rack up yards.
