Bears Beat Eagles Despite Caleb Injury, Box Score Stats & Highlights for Hurts, Keenum, Top Players

No Caleb Williams, no problem. The Philadelphia Eagles were more than happy to accommodate Case Keenum on Monday night.

The Chicago Bears' third-string quarterback surprisingly lit up the Birds, leading the Bears to a 27-7 victory that moved them to 2-1 on the season.

Chicago opened the scoring on the first drive, as Keenum brilliantly guided the Bears down the field before Burden willed his way into the end zone. The entire drive was very much a Ben Johnson play-calling and play design masterclass.

From there, things got a bit slopy, and both teams will lament blown chances in the red zone.

In the first half, Loveland was tackled just short of the goal line, Odunze dropped an easy touchdown reception and the Bears were stopped on a fourth-down attempt, all on the same drive.

The Eagles, meanwhile, threw an interception in the end zone after backup Andy Dalton was briefly called into action while Jalen Hurts was being checked for a possible concussion.

The Eagles did respond late in the first half, however, as Hurts led a 67-yard scoring drive in just a minute and 32 seconds, capped off by a heady quarterback sneak.

But the Bears took over the game over in the second half, with Raymond finding the end zone and the Chicago defense completely stymieing Philly's offense, which included a T.J. Edwards interception.

And Keenum capped off his brilliant night with a quarterback sneak for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, a final twist of irony against the Tush Push Eagles.

For the Bears, it was a fantastic victory without Williams. Johnson's game plan was on point and Keenum executed it to perfection, while Chicago's defense put up an inspired performance.

For the Eagles, however, it will cause plenty of the same angst that fans felt last season as a talented Philadelphia team completely lost its way in the second half of the 2025 campaign. The Eagles killed themselves with penalties, turnovers and bizarre coaching decisions on Monday night.

It will provide plenty of fodder for sports-talk radio in the City of Brotherly Love. For the Eagles, however, it caste some real doubts about whether they are actually true contenders this season.

Up next for the Bears is a home game against the New York Jets on Sunday, while the Eagles will host the Rams that same day.
