Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings, Top Players, Sleepers and Positional Guide
The 2026 NFL season continues to turn fantasy football into a rocky roller coaster of a ride. That trend continues in Week 3, as fans witnessed more big upsets, stunning finishes, impressive 2026 debuts and, unfortunately, more significant injuries.
The uncertainty makes it difficult to sort through the Week 4 fantasy landscape this early in the week. Fortunately, managers still have another week before byes also factor into the equation.
However, the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders will play an international game on Sunday morning, so don't forget to set those lineups early.
Here, you'll find early point-per-reception (PPR) rankings for Week 4, along with a few sleepers to consider targeting on the waiver wire.
Quarterback

Rankings
- Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
- Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
- Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
- Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
- Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
- Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
- Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
- Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
- Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
- Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
- Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
- Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Sleeper: Geno Smith, QB, New York Jets
Though he was unable to get the New York Jets a win in Week 3, Geno Smith did take advantage of a suspect Detroit Lions defense. In a back-and-forth battle that saw the Lions pull away late, Smith threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns.
This week, Smith and the Jets will take on a Chicago Bears that showed on Monday it can put up points without Caleb Williams. With Breece Hall battling a thigh injury, the Jets will likely call on Smith early and often. His ceiling is probably limited, but Smith is a serviceable option for managers who have lost Jaxson Dart, Jayden Daniels, or Caleb Williams to injury.
Smith is rostered in only 10 percent of fantasy leagues.
Running Back

Rankings
- Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
- Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
- Kenneth Walker III, Kansas City Chiefs
- Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
- James Cook, Buffalo Bills
- Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
- Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
- Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals
- Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
- Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
- Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
- Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys
- Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
- Cam Skattebo, New York Giants
Sleeper: Brian Robinson Jr., RB, Atlanta Falcons
Running backs have been a scarce commodity this season, and with byes on the not-too-distant horizon, it's worth scooping up a matchup-based flex option like Brian Robinson Jr.
Brian Robinson is obviously the Atlanta Falcons' No. 2 back behind Bijan Robinson. However, he has reached 50 scrimmage yards in consecutive weeks with a pair of receptions in Week 2 and a touchdown in Week 3.
This week, Robinson will face a New Orleans Saints defense that has surrendered an average of 24.2 fantasy points to opposing backfields. He's rostered in just 31 percent of fantasy leagues.
Wide Receiver

Rankings
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
- Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
- Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
- Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
- Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
- Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
- DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
- Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
- CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
- Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
- George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
- Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
- Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
- Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers
- Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos
- Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
- Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
- D.J. Moore, Buffalo Bills
- Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers
- Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Sleeper: Keenan Allen, WR, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts recently placed standout receiver Alec Pierce on injured reserve with a heel issue. With Pierce out of the lineup on Sunday, Keenan Allen emerged as a go-to target and finished with six catches for 63 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.
Pierce will be out at least another three weeks, so Allen should at least carry some short-term value. This week, he'll face the Commanders in London, a situation that can be exploited. Washington has surrendered an average of 39 fantasy points to opposing receiver groups so far this season.
Allen is rostered in only 21 percent of fantasy leagues.
Tight End

Rankings
- Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
- Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
- George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
- Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
- Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
- Travis Kelce, Las Vegas Raiders
- Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
- Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
- Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
- Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns
- Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
- Isaiah Likely, New York Giants
Sleeper: T.J. Hockenson, TE, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson suffered an ankle injury on Sunday and did not return to the game. While that doesn't guarantee that he'll miss Week 4, Minnesota will undoubtedly exercise caution approaching a matchup with the winless Miami Dolphins.
This gives tight end T.J. Hockenson some legitimate sleeper value for, really, the first time this season. He did catch a touchdown pass in Week 1, but he hasn't topped three receptions or reached 30 receiving yards in a game since. A lot will hinge on Jefferson's status, but Hockenson is worth adding in deeper leagues this week.
The Dolphins have surrendered an average of 13.5 fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Hockenson is rostered in only 45 percent of fantasy leagues.
