Predicting Cleveland Browns' 2026 Season Stat Leaders After 2 Weeks

It's only been two weeks, but we've already learned a lot about the 2026 Cleveland Browns.

For one, they are capable of winning a game on the road if Deshaun Watson plays efficient football.

There's still a lot for the team to prove. There's plenty of time for those off to a rocky start to set things right. There's also time for players off to a hot start to cool off.

With that in mind, it's a good time to revisit who is going to be leading this team statistically and what their final statline could look like. Here, we'll look at some of the major statistical categories and project who will lead the way as the season starts to unfold.

Passing: Deshaun Watson

2025 Leader: Shedeur Sanders (120-of-212, 1,400 yards, 7 TD, 10 INT)

It looked like an inevitability that Shedeur Sanders would be the starting quarterback for the Browns after Week 1. After Week 2, it truly seems like Watson's job to lose.

Todd Monken has been steadfast that the veteran gives them the best chance to win. He was vindicated in Week 2. The Browns upset the Bucs and Watson was efficient in the win.

He didn't really push the ball downfield. His average depth of target was just 3.6 yards, but it resulted in a statline of 24-of-30 for 238 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

That might be the ceiling for the version of Watson that the Browns are getting at this point. It's hard to see him putting up huge numbers if he's going to play conservatively outside of a few deep shots to Denzel Boston every game.

That being said, he could put together the kind of efficient season that the Browns need to see what their skill players could do and keep Sanders on the bench.

Projected Statline: 280-of-424, 3,083 yards, 18 TD, 10 INT

Rushing: Quinshon Judkins

2025 Leader: Quinshon Judkins (230 attempts, 827 yards and 7 TD)

The most surprising development for the Browns this season might be that the run game has been the most disappointing aspect. There was optimism that Quinshon Judkins could take the next step.

So far, that simply hasn't happened.

There's more to the run game than Judkins' contributions. The offensive line hasn't necessarily done its part either. But Judkins' PFF grade ranks 46th among the 60 they have graded this season.

The Browns are currently 30th in yards before contact, according to Pro Football Reference. They also have zero broken tackles.

There's a case to be made that Judkins will get better with time. Every week puts more distance between himself and the dislocated ankle and broken fibula that ended his season last year.

We'll get a better idea if Judkins can turn things around in Week 3. The Panthers gave up the most rushing yards through the first two weeks of the season.

For now, it's hard to see him really improving over his rookie campaign.

Projected Statline: 237 attempts, 864 yards and 7 TD

Receiving: Denzel Boston

2025 Leader: Harold Fannin (72 receptions, 731 yards, 6 TD)

This is the most interesting projection to make because the Browns have three legitimate candidates to lead the team in receiving.

Judkins might not be playing well, but there aren't really other options on the roster. Harold Fannin has a lot more competition as the incumbent leading receiver.

If we were handicapping the race, the tight end would have the third-best odds. That's a good thing for the Browns passing attack. The question is whether the passing game is going to evolve over the season.

Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion have emerged as legitimate reasons for optimism in Cleveland. Concepcion has caught 10 of his 11 targets for 71 yards. Boston has turned his 11 targets into seven receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Boston has to be considered the favorite to lead the team in receiving yards. He's the team's best big-play threat at this point and he holds an 83-yard advantage already.

Concepcion should be considered a real threat to lead the team as well, though. His role in the offense gives him easy touches and the potential to rack up yards after the catch.

Regardless of how the quarterback plays on a weekly basis, they are going to be able to get Concepcion the ball on screens, jet sweeps and quick game. That should open the door for him to consistently produce.

Still, Boston's hot start makes it hard to pick against him.

Projected Statline: 62 receptions, 1,023 yards, 6 TD

Sacks: Mason Graham

2025 Leader: Myles Garrett (23 sacks, 33 TFL, 39 Quarterback Hits)

This is obviously where the biggest drop off is going to happen. Myles Garrett had one of the best pass-rushing seasons in the history of the league last season. Now, he's a Los Angeles Ram and the Browns are searching for a primary pass rusher.

Thus far, it looks like second-year defensive tackle Mason Graham the leader of the pass-rushers. Graham has already posted two sacks in two games after notching just half a sack during the entire 2025 season.

Graham is not Garrett. He is off to a hot start, though. He didn't just luck into two sacks, he is winning 18 percent of his pass-rush reps, per ESPN Analytics.

That puts him 14th among all interior defenders in the league through two weeks, but that number would have made him No. 2 among all defensive tackles last year.

That would put him somewhere around Jeffery Simmons who had 11 sacks last season. Offensive lines are bound to adjust to him as the season goes and Graham has more film to analyze.

The breakout trajectory combined with the fact that the other two sacks for the Browns have come from safeties Grant Delpit and Ronnie Hickman make Graham the obvious choice to lead the team in sacks.

Projected Statline: 8 sacks, 13 TFL, 15 Quarterback Hits

Tackles: Carson Schwesinger

2025 Leader: 156 tackles (67 solo, 89 assists), 11 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 2 INT

Carson Schwesinger introduced himself to the league as a rookie by leading the 2025 Cleveland Browns in tackles. He was also named the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Through two games, he's declared himself as the odds-on favorite to be the most producive linebacker on the team once more. He has posted 10 total tackles in each of the first two games.

Schwesinger is all over the field and is a clutch contributor for the defense. He reached a max speed of 20.56 MPH when tracking down Bucky Irving in the opend field and he took down Baker Mayfield on a crucial third-down scramble.

Graham is shaping up to be the kind of interior pass rusher who can take over a game. Schwesinger is showing he can be the down-to-down leader who will make more splash plays as he uses the experience he gained last year.

We could be looking at an All-Pro season.
