Eagles Reportedly Sign Kenny Moore II, Full Contract Details Revealed in New NFL Rumors

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing cornerback Kenny Moore II to their practice squad, according to Zach Berman of The Athletic.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Moore is getting a one-year deal worth as much as $3 million.

The Indianapolis Colts released him in May after failing to find a trade that suited both parties. He started 14 games for the team in 2025, finishing with 55 tackles, one interception and six pass breakups.

Moore was a Pro Bowler in 2021, but that season is an outlier in his NFL career. For the most part, he has been a solid defensive back without consistently hitting a high level.

The writing was on the wall as it related to his future in Indy because he had slipped in and out of a starting role in 2025. He was on the field for 76 percent of the team's defensive snaps, his lowest rate since 2017.

Versatility is a strength for Moore because he lined up in the slot and on the outside with the Colts. That could help him carve out a role in a secondary that has no shortage of options.

Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean were both All-Pros a season ago, and Riq Woolen is entrenched as a starting boundary corner opposite Mitchell. The Eagles also have veterans Michael Carter II, Jonathan Jones and Kelee Ringo in the fold alongside safeties Andrew Mukuba and Marcus Epps.

Through two games, Philly is tied for the fifth-fewest passing yards allowed at 166 per contest.

Having a corner with Moore's track record so far down the depth chart is a nice luxury for the Eagles.
