Two of the most impactful fantasy football point earners in the AFC are under the injury microscope ahead of Week 2.

Joe Burrow has been dealing with a back issue this week, but all signs point to him being on the field on Sunday for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Nico Collins is not as fortunate, as it looks like he'll sit out Week 2 for the Houston Texans with a hamstring injury.

Below is a look at all of the notable fantasy football injury news ahead of Week 2's games.

Joe Burrow Expected to Play

Joe Burrow's back tightness will not keep him out of the Week 2 clash with the Texans despite officially being listed as questionable.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that the issue is not serious enough to rule him out for the trip to Texas.

WLWT's Charlie Clifford noted on Friday that Burrow didn't have many limitations in the throws he made.

Burrow threw for 254 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. That is close to the expected stat line each week for the Cincinnati quarterback, especially with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins at his disposal.

Burrow and the Bengals do have a tougher matchup on paper in Week 2 against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Houston allowed Josh Allen to throw for 334 yards in Week 1, so there is hope that the Bengals stars put up large fantasy football totals.

It's understandable if you'd like to start someone else at quarterback based on matchup , but there's no reason to leave Burrow out of your lineup due to his health.

Nico Collins Ruled Out

KPRC's Aaron Wilson noted that Collins didn't participate in Friday's practice. He has since been ruled out.

Collins hauled in seven receptions on 10 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Bills.

He's obviously going to be a massive loss for the Texans in their AFC showdown with the Bengals.

Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson and Kayshon Boutte are the wide receivers to look at from a fantasy perspective, but the biggest beneficiary might be tight end Dalton Schultz.

Schultz had the second-most targets on the Texans roster behind Collins in Week 1. He's the most reliable pass-catcher at C.J. Stroud's disposal for Week 2.

Chicago's Luther Burden III and Minnesota's Jordan Addison are among the ideal replacements for Collins should you have them at your disposal. The Bears play the Vikings in Week 2 in a matchup of two teams that gave up over 300 passing yards in Week 1.

Kansas City's Xavier Worthy and Quentin Johnston of the Los Angeles Chargers are other players to target because of their respective Week 2 matchups.

Unfortunately for fantasy players, there will be a drop off in production of some sort from Collins to whomever replaces him because he is one of the highest-volume pass-catchers in the NFL.
