Jon Jones Return Teased by Gable Steveson, Next Fight Predicted in New Video
Jon Jones hasn't fought since November 2024, when he successfully defended his heavyweight title, and Gable Steveson believes he could come back to claim the title once again.
Steveson teased a possible title fight for Jones if he chooses to return to the UFC.
"I called Jon today, and he's honored to have the opportunity to maybe come back," Steveson said. "He's always had gold around his waist."

Jon Jones Claps Back at Islam Makhachev
Jones beat Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 to defend his heavyweight title for the first time, and he shortly after expressed interest in a heavyweight title unification bout with Tom Aspinall.
Jones has since retired, but there have been several indications that he's not done fighting.
He reentered the UFC's drug-testing pool last July, shortly after the UFC 250 event at the White House was announced, though he ended up not being on the card for that event.
Now could be the perfect time for him to officially make his return.
Aspinall vacated the UFC heavyweight title due to "ongoing complications" with his eye, meaning Ciryl Gane was promoted to the undisputed champion. Jones may have wanted to fight Aspinall initially, but he might instead have the chance to take back the title against Gane.
