C.J. Stroud Reacts to Andre Johnson Criticism After Texans' Loss vs. Josh Allen, Bills in Week 1

Houston Texans legend and Hall of Famer Andre Johnson told Kendrick Perkins on the the LGND Talk podcast earlier this week that he dislikes C.J. Stroud's "body language" during games at times, calling it "bad" following Sunday's 36-31 loss against the Buffalo Bills.

On Wednesday, Stroud was asked about those comments and largely chose to sidestep the question:

Stroud has acknowledged in the past that his body language could be better, especially when he or the team is struggling.

It's something Johnson has clocked.

"I think, as a former player, your quarterback having that type of body language is bad," he told Perkins. "Because other guys look at you as the quarterback. So, when they see you feeling a certain way, it kind of trickles through the team."

Superstar Will Anderson was quick to come to Stroud's defense, however.

"I think C.J.'s been doing a phenomenal job since his rookie year to now with great body language," he told reporters. "He's getting guys going, leading that group of guys over there and having enthusiasm and having fun on the sideline. If something doesn't go right, I think he does a good job of bringing everybody back together and centering everybody. We can't really focus on that. Cincinnati's up right now."
