Week 2 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet, Top Sleepers and Best Value Plays
The second week of the NFL season will get underway on Thursday night with a thrilling matchup between the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills. The game should be an offensive battle that benefits most of the fantasy options involved.
Players who may be available on the waiver wire, like Isaac TeSlaa and Khalil Shakir, may even be worth a start on Thursday.
Picking lineups for the rest of the Week 2 slate won't be as easy, especially with injuries already taking away some top options. Here, you'll find a Week 2 cheat sheet, a list of top value plays, and a pair of high-ceiling sleepers to consider adding off the waiver wire.
All rankings and picks are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.

Sleeper: Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young had his fair share of growing pains over his first three seasons. However, he looked every bit like a former No. 1 overall pick against the Chicago Bears in Week 1.
Young shredded Chicago's defense early and often, and he finished Week 1 as QB3.
Young won't face a defense as suspect as Chicago's every week, though, so he remains a matchup-based sleeper. He's worth trusting this week against an Atlanta Falcons defense that had some major lapses in coverage last Sunday.
Young is rostered in just 21 percent of fantasy leagues.
Sleeper: Mike Gesicki, TE, Cincinnati Bengals

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a terrific job of containing Cincinnati Bengals receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Week 1. However, the Bengals were able to counter by leaning on tight end Mike Gesicki.
Gesicki caught five of seven targets for 78 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.
This week, the Bengals will face a Houston Texans defense that should be better than it looked against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Gesicki may not match his Week 1 numbers. However, he's likely to be a huge part of the game plan after Cincinnati watched Dalton Kincaid shred the Texans for 130 yards on five catches.
Gesicki is rostered in just six percent of fantasy leagues.
