The bonuses are part of the one-year, $15.5 million contract Brissett signed with the team in the offseason. He also will receive a $1.25 million bonus if he throws for 24 touchdown passes and a $1.4 million bonus if he throws for 3,500 yards.
The 33-year-old had a solid first showing on Sunday, finishing 27-of-37 for 277 yards with a touchdown, no interceptions and only one sack taken. He also rushed six times for 14 yards.
It was also a good day for head coach Mike LaFleur, who earned his first win as Arizona's head coach.
"A great game in all three phases," Brissett said on CBS following the win. "... On the road, tough environment, it's what you ask for."
"He was great today," Brissett added of LaFleur. "Me and him, I feel like we were in sync from play one. I'm just so happy for him. Nobody deserves it more than him."
While many were surprised by Sunday's upset win, LaFleur and the Cardinals weren't among them.
"What's been said doesn't matter," the head coach told reporters. "We don't care. As I just told the guys, 'Humility is a day away in this league.'"
And a very nice performance bonus is only a win away if you happen to be Brissett.
