Raiders Beat Dolphins, Box Score Stats, Highlights for Kirk Cousins, Malik Willis, Top Players

Kirk Cousins led the Las Vegas Raiders to a 27-13 home win over Malik Willis and the Miami Dolphins to open the 2026 NFL season.

The veteran-led Raiders entered their matchup as a 3-point favorite over Miami ahead of Sunday's matchup at Allegiant Stadium, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

In his 15th season under center, Cousins is showing no signs of slowing down in his first year in Sin City alongside second-year player Ashton Jeanty, with the duo leading the team to 290 total yards (130 rushing).

After eight plays, the Dolphins punted the ball away in the first, allowing the Raiders to eat up the clock with a nearly nine-minute possession that resulted in a Cousins connection to Jack Bech for six points.

Miami added a pair of field goals in the second, attempting to chip away at the Raiders' lead, while Las Vegas registered a field goal of its own and another touchdown, this time on a 13-yard Cousins pass to Ashton Jeanty.

Las Vegas led Miami 17-6 at halftime.

The Raiders' first miscue came out of the break when Cousins threw an interception, setting up a 52-yard, four play drive for Willis and the Dolphins to find the end zone for the first time on the day. Willis ran one in on a 14-yard run, cutting the deficit to four.

Las Vegas quickly responded on another Cousins-Jeanty connection, adding a field goal on offense and an interception on defense, while Miami missed a field goal to close out the third, trailing 27-13.

Despite some fourth-quarter struggles, including a three-and-out drive and near-costly interception by the Raiders, Miami was unable to put together any offense, and Las Vegas walked away with a Week 1 win.

Both teams will head west next Sunday — Las Vegas to face the Los Angeles Chargers at 4:05 p.m. ET and Miami to take on the San Francisco 49ers at 5:25 p.m. ET.
