Abdul Carter's Darth Vader Giants Facemask Shown Off in New Photo Ahead of NFL Week 1 vs. Cowboys

New York Giants pass-rusher Abdul Carter showcased his new facemask inspired by Darth Vader for the 2026 season on Thursday.

Carter also posted a photo of the facemask on his Instagram story along with a Darth Vader quote from Star Wars: A New Hope.

Carter appeared in 17 games last season after the Giants selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He recorded 43 tackles, 23 quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles.

Carter also tallied 34 pressures, according to Pro Football Reference.

He'll be back in action when the Giants face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET.
