Netflix Drops NFL Hype Trailer by 'Friday Night Lights' Director Peter Berg Ahead of Rams vs. 49ers

Ahead of Thursday night's NFL regular-season contest between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, Netflix revealed the open that will be shown prior to the game.
The open is directed by Peter Berg, who is best known to football fans as the director of the hugely popular 2004 football film Friday Night Lights and the upcoming film The Mosquito Bowl, which features former NFL player Pat McAfee.

Thursday night will mark the first of four Netflix NFL opens directed by Berg this season with the others being for the Green Bay Packers vs. Rams on Thanksgiving Eve, the Packers vs. Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos on Christmas Day, and a yet-to-be-announced Week 18 game on Jan. 9.
