Cowboys Valued at Record $17B as Forbes Reveals Most Valuable NFL Teams of 2026 List

The Dallas Cowboys are still considered the most valuable franchise in the NFL.

For the 20th straight year, the Cowboys topped Forbes' list of most valuable NFL franchises with an estimated net worth of $17 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Rams ($13.5 billion), New York Giants ($12 billion) and New England Patriots ($10.6 billion).

Bringing up the rear are the Arizona Cardinals ($8.06 billion), Jacksonville Jaguars ($8.05 billion), Detroit Lions ($8.04 billion), New Orleans Saints ($8.02 billion) and Cincinnati Bengals ($8 billion).

Seattle's sale for $9.6 billion to billionaire venture capitalist Vinod Khosla was a reminder that NFL franchise valuations continue to skyrocket, and no organization illustrates that quite like Dallas.

As Forbes noted, "Despite a Super Bowl drought that stretches back to Jan. 1996, Jerry Jones' Cowboys generated nearly $1.28 billion in revenue last season, according to Forbes estimates, edging Real Madrid's $1.27 billion from 2024-25 for the largest total Forbes has ever measured for a sports team. Dallas also posted an estimated $677 million in operating income last season, putting the Cowboys $342 million ahead of the next-best NFL franchise and making them by far the world's most profitable sports team."

The Cowboys may not win the big one anymore, but they are certainly winning the bottom line.
