Josh Allen Predicated as 2026 NFL MVP over Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow in Poll of Insiders

Those within NFL circles believe Josh Allen could be coming for his second MVP award in 2026.

The Athletic's Jeff Howe polled 20 general managers, high-ranking executives, head coaches, coordinators and other coaches on a variety of questions, including who would take home MVP.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback received eight votes, followed by Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who received three votes each.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott each received two votes, while Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got one vote apiece.

That kind of recognition for Allen isn't all that surprising. After all, he was voted the second-best player in the NFL by his peers this week.

The 30-year-old is coming off a season in which he recorded 3,668 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while rushing for 579 yards and four scores.

Allen could be due for another big year in 2026, and he'll look to take home some more hardware.
