Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown's Conversation Revealed in New NFL Rumors After Viral Video at Practice

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown shared an embrace at a joint practice after being urged to publicly reunite, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

McLane reported "both teams had wanted a made-for-the-cameras reconciliation and Brown... agreed when an intermediary intervened."

94 WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks shared a video Aug. 20 of Brown and Hurts sharing a hug and a conversation following a joint Eagles-Patriots practice.

According to McLane, the two "asked about each other's families, wished the other good luck in the coming season, and exchanged a few jokes, according to a source briefed on the interaction."

Hurts and Brown played six seasons and won Super Bowl LIX together before Brown was traded to the Patriots in June.

Brown said in a June interview with Maria Taylor he and Hurts were "not as close as we once were" but there was "still a lot of love" between them.

"I didn't truly understand why our friendship became the center of everybody's attention when it came to football because, looking back on it, we haven't been as close as we were a couple years now," Brown said.

Hurts, when asked in a recent interview with GQ's Zach Baron if he had grown apart from Brown, answered, "I mean, clearly."

The former Eagles teammates are not set to reunite this regular season. Brown is set to make his Patriots debut next Wednesday against the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, while the Eagles are preparing to open the campaign the following Sunday against the visiting Washington Commanders.
