Cowboys Clear Over $19M in Salary Cap Space, Restructure Contracts for Bland, Ferguson, Clark

The Dallas Cowboys have cleared a little over $19 million in cap space after restructuring the contracts of cornerback DaRon Bland, tight end Jake Ferguson and defensive tackle Kenny Clark, per ESPN's Todd Archer.

Dallas had $15.9 million in cap space before the moves, per Over the Cap.

The 27-year-old Bland is entering his fifth NFL season, all with the Cowboys, who selected him in the fifth round of the 2022 draft. Bland set an NFL record in 2023 with five pick-sixes (he also amassed a league-high nine interceptions). He signed a four-year, $90 million contract extension in Aug. 2025.

The 30-year-old Clark is entering his 11th NFL season and second with the Cowboys after arriving in town via the Micah Parsons trade in Aug. 2025. Clark is a three-time Pro Bowler who has started 71 straight games. He had 36 tackles and three sacks last year and is playing on a three-year, $64 million deal that runs through 2027.

The 27-year-old Ferguson begins his fifth NFL season with the Cowboys. He's been the team's TE1 for the past three seasons, and he just caught 82 passes for 600 yards and eight touchdowns. Ferguson is on a four-year contract worth $50 million in new money.
