Women's boxing star Katie Taylor is set to make her final walk to the ring on Saturday when she defends her undipsuted super lightweight title against Flora Pili at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

Taylor's decorated career has included an Olympic gold medal, dominant title reigns and lightweight and super lightweight that included some of the biggest fights in the history of the sport.

Now, she gets the opportunity to close out her career on her terms in her home country against an undefeated contender.

The stage is set for Taylor to take center stage once more, but this isn't exactly the best opponent she has seen. Pili is undefeated in 12 professional fights, but the quality of competition is reflected in the odds.

The Frenchwoman most recently claimed the IBO title with a majority decision over Jelena Janićijević. It was good enough to set her up with this opportunity. It just wasn't good enough to make her a viable threat.

Still, Taylor isn't overlooking her opponent as she looks to add one more statement victory to her resume.

"People have travelled all around the world to follow my career and I'm hoping I can repay some of that with a big performance on September 5," she told Matchroom Boxing. "I'm under no illusions that Flora will present a very tough challenge, she's undefeated as a professional and has a good amateur pedigree so I have the utmost respect for her."

Taylor, 40, is 11 years older than her opponent on Saturday night. However, she still should hold the advantage in hand speed, athleticism and talent.

Pili is a skilled boxer, but she doesn't pose much threat in the power department. She has finished just two of her 12 career wins. Taylor has been drawn into some fire fights in the later part of her career, but that shouldn't be a problem on Saturday.

The Croke Park crowd should get exactly what they are hoping for: A one-sided affair where the native daughter showcases her skills one last time.
