Travis Kelce Bought $5.3M Ohio Home Before Taylor Swift Wedding Ahead of Chiefs Season

It has been quite the year for Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end famously married pop superstar Taylor Swift this summer, which reportedly came months after he purchased a 21,000-square-foot home on a 3.5-acre property in Ohio.

Libertina Brandt and E.B. Solomont of the Wall Street Journal reported Kelce purchased the home close to Cleveland and a private airport for $5.35 million in March.

The property is on the edge of Lake Erie and was initially built around 1895, although it was extensively renovated before it was listed on the market in 2024.

The home features eight bedrooms, as well as a game room and home theater where there was originally a ballroom. What's more, the gatehouse was turned into a two-bedroom guest cottage.

Perhaps it will eventually be a post-NFL home for Kelce, who will turn 37 years old in October and is entering his 14th season in the league in 2026. He is one of the best tight ends in NFL history with a resume that includes three Super Bowl titles, four First-Team All-Pro nods and 11 Pro Bowl selections.

While he is not as effective as he was at his peak, he was still solid last season on his way to 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns.

Kelce and the Chiefs start their new campaign on Sept. 14 against the Denver Broncos.
