Updated Weather Forecast for 2026 US Open Day 3 Schedule of Matches

The 2026 U.S. Open schedule could be impacted Tuesday by stormy conditions in New York City.

The Weather Channel forecasts thunderstorms, some of which "may be severe," in both the morning and afternoon Tuesday in Queens.

According to The Weather Channel, there is a 85 percent chance of thunderstorms at 11 a.m. ET and a 59 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms at noon.

The weather service predicts one potentially clear but cloudy hour before scattered thunderstorms resume, leading up to a 100 percent chance of thunderstorms alongside 0.16 inches of rain at 3 p.m. ET.

The Weather Channel then predicts at least 60 percent chance of thunderstorms each hour until 7 p.m. ET.

There is then a 48 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms until 8 p.m. ET, according to The Weather Channel.

Two big matches are scheduled to begin around 11:30 a.m. ET Tuesday as No. 22 seed Madison Keys takes on Alina Korneeva before No. 9 seed Taylor Fritz plays Darwin Blanch at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Around 7 p.m. ET at the same venue, No. 4 seed Coco Gauff is scheduled to take on Zeynep Sönmez before top seed Alexander Zverev plays Lorenzo Sonego at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
