Key Players for Top Teams
Seattle

The Seahawks don't have a player rated 99 overall, but they do have a surplus of players rated 90 or above on both sides of the ball.
The excellence begins in the secondary. Anchored by Richard Sherman (97), there's no defensive backfield in the game that is more talented. The safeties are almost as good as Sherman. Earl Thomas is rated a 95 and Kam Chancellor checks in with a 94.
It's not just the secondary that is great on Seattle's defense. There's a player rated in the top five at their position on every level of the Seahawks' defense. Middle linebacker Bobby Wagner is rated 92 overall and defensive end Michael Bennett is at a 95.
There's excellence on offense as well.
Running back Marshawn Lynch is the best at his position. Beast mode is real, as Lynch is rated 96 overall. Newly acquired tight end Jimmy Graham gives the Seahawks an elite option in the passing game at a 95 overall.
New England

Everything with the Patriots begins with quarterback Tom Brady. He's rated 97 overall, but he's not the highest rated player on his team. That distinction belongs to all-world tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronk is rated a 99, as he's the only tight end ranked higher than Graham.
New England's defense lost former mainstay Vince Wilfork off of its defensive line, but free safety Devin McCourty (94) and outside linebacker Dont'a Hightower key a balanced defense that will make it tough for opponents to move the ball.
Green Bay

Aaron Rodgers joins Gronkowski and the Houston Texans' J.J. Watt as the only players in Madden 16 rated a 99 overall. Rodgers is nearly the perfect video game quarterback. He has one of the strongest arms in the game with a 95 in throw power. His deep accuracy rating is an 80—which is tops in the league.
He's fairly mobile as well with a 75 speed rating and a throw-on-the-run rating of 88. When you consider he's throwing the ball to Jordy Nelson (93) and Randall Cobb (91) and handing it to Eddie Lacy (90), it's clear how nasty the Packers offense will be in Madden 16.
The defense is no slouch. Clay Matthews (90) leads a fierce group. Green Bay's defense isn't quite as good as New England and Seattle's, but with the offense it brings to the table, it doesn't need to be.
