Terrion Arnold Reportedly Will Visit Giants Amid Seahawks, Texans Interest in NFL Free Agency

The New York Giants reportedly are eyeing a free agent cornerback to upgrade the secondary.

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Giants will host Terrion Arnold for a visit on Wednesday.

Arnold visited the Seattle Seahawks earlier this week and previously had a visit with the Houston Texans. According to Schultz, he also visited the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald discussed the team's interest in Arnold on Monday.

"It was a great visit, really enjoyed meeting him and I think he enjoyed being here... We are going to do our diligence," Macdonald said. "There are a lot of people in Terrion's corner that we respect in terms of the type of guy he is."

Arnold recorded 31 tackles, eight passes defended and an interception in eight games last year before missing the second half of the season due to a season-ending shoulder surgery. The first-round pick in 2024 had 60 tackles and 10 passes defended as a rookie.

The Lions released Arnold in June with two years remaining on his rookie contract.

The Giants have a solid cornerback duo in Greg Newsome II and Paulson Adebo, but it's fair to say that Arnold would give New York a major upgrade on the defensive side.

The Giants can use all the help they can get in upgrading the defense after it allowed the fifth-most yards per game (359.5) and the seventh-most points per game (25.8) last season.

But Arnold could have a few other solid teams to choose from. Joining the Seahawks or Texans would give him the chance to play for a playoff contender rather than a rebuilding squad.
