Jacoby Brissett Says 'Hell No' He Doesn't Know Cardinals Offense Under OC Hackett After New Contract

Jacoby Brissett has some catching up to do after missing out on some of the Arizona Cardinals' offseason work while waiting for a new contract.

When asked whether he knows the new offense under Nathaniel Hackett, Brissett said, "Oh hell no."

"I think we just ran all Day 1 plays out there for me today, so I got a long way to go," Brissett said. "But like I said, I'm willing to put the work in... But it's training camp. We're all learning. It's the first time in the offense, so I'm not naive to understanding there's still a lot of work to be done."

Brissett and the Cardinals agreed to a reworked deal on Sunday that will pay him $15.5 million with incentives that could move the total value up to $21 million. He was initially set to earn just a $4.9 million base salary in 2026, which led him to seek a reworked contract.

Brissett started the final 12 games for Arizona last year, collecting 3,366 yards, 23 touchdowns and completing 64.9 percent of his attempts in 14 games.

The 33-year-old will now look to adjust to a new offensive coordinator to keep the momentum going from what was the best season of his career.
