Shedeur Sanders' Brother Deion Jr. Reacts to Rex Ryan's Criticism on BTS Video of Photoshoot

Former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan has been more active on social media lately, and he recently took aim at Cleveland Browns second-year quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Ryan criticized Sanders after seeing a behind-the-scenes video of an elaborate photoshoot, telling him that to be a franchise quarterback, "there has to be more we than me." Sanders' older brother, Deion Jr., came to his defense by questioning why Ryan is bothered by the signal-caller's off-field activities:

This isn't the first time that Ryan and Sanders have been entangled. Early in Sanders' rookie season, Ryan blasted him for carrying himself like a star when he hadn't earned the starting quarterback position in Cleveland yet.

"This kid talks and he runs his mouth," Ryan said during a Sept. 29 episode of Get Up. "Like he said, 'I can be a starting quarterback' with his arms crossed like this. Get your ass in the front row and study and do all that. If I know, the whole league knows. Quit being an embarrassment that way. You've got the talent to be the quarterback, you should be. You should be embarrassed that you're not the quarterback now."

Sanders responded by trolling Ryan and mouthing silent answers to reporters' questions. He later addressed the criticism directly.

"I guess not everybody likes playful all the time," Sanders said at the time, per ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi. "So it's to understand how to be at all times and keep my personality a little bit slimmer, I guess. Because not everybody understands it at all times and you may not have a full time to be able to explain things."

It doesn't seem like Sanders and Ryan will have an amicable relationship anytime soon, so it's probably best that they avoid one another going forward.
