Every Snub from Top 10 in New NFL WR Rankings by Coaches, Execs

Here are the players who made the honorable mention list:

  • Malik Nabers, New York Giants
  • Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers
  • Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
  • Tyreek Hill
  • Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
  • Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions

There were eight other wideouts in the "also receiving votes" category:

  • Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts
  • Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
  • DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders
  • Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
  • DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
  • Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

New York Giants star Malik Nabers is arguably the most notable omission from the top group. The primary reason he fell out of the top 10 after rankingย seventhย last year is the torn ACL that limited him to four games in 2025.

"He's easily a top-10 receiver," an AFC executive said of Nabers to Fowler. "Theย knee situationย is worrisome, but hopefully he bounces back soon. But he can do everything you need."

The Giants will be hoping Nabers makes a full recovery and gets back to his rookie form because they lost their leading receiver, Wan'Dale Robinson, in free agency to the Tennessee Titans.

Perhaps the most interesting player still highly-regarded is Tyreek Hill. Despite being 32 and coming off aย major knee injuryย of his own, league personnel included him in the honorable mention category.

One personnel evaluator told Fowler that Hill still has elite top-end speed and remains "a force when healthy," but there are more concerns about him coming off the injury and his age.

Hill remains unsigned as he waits for medical clearance, but his agent Drew Rosenhausย saidย in March the eight-time Pro Bowler intends to join a contender when he does return to the field.

Drake London's omission from the top 10 is also a bit of a surprise given how consistent he has been over the past four seasons, despite playing for an Atlanta Falcons team that has endured a lot of turnover at the quarterback spot.

One NFL coordinator described London as "really solid" in most facets of the game, but not someone who will "take the top off" of a defense like the top-tier receivers.

London, who signed aย four-year, $141 millionย extension in June, has averaged 77 receptions, 990 yards and just under six touchdowns per season since entering the NFL in 2022.

In the also receiving votes category, Tee Higgins being that low comes as a surprise because of how dominant the Bengals offense has been with him as arguably the best No. 2 receiver in the NFL.

Higgins has not reached the 1,000-yard mark since 2022, but his 21 touchdowns over the past two seasonsย ranksย fourth in the NFL. The problem is his teammate, Ja'Marr Chase, is first with 25, so his performance might get a bit overlooked.

Chris Olave snuck into the honorable mention category coming off a career year with 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. The New Orleans Saints have the potential to be a fascinating team in 2026 after going 5-4 in Tyler Shough's nine starts last season.

If that carries over to this season, the Saints could easily find themselves in the playoff mix in a very wide open NFC South.
