Caitlin Clark, A'ja Wilson, Sophie Cunningham's Final Box Score Stats, Highlights as Fever Beat Aces
Even with Caitlin Clark on a minutes restriction, the Indiana Fever handled business against A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
Clark, who has been managing a back injury, played 24 minutes, posting 12 points, six assists and seven boards in the 109-75 win. With Clark unable to play her usual minutes, Kelsey Mitchell led the way for Indiana with 27 points. Aliyah Boston added 19 while Sophie Cunningham posted 20 off the bench.
| Player | Team | Minutes | Points | FG | 3-PT | Assists | Rebounds |
| Caitlin Clark | IND | 24 | 12 | 5-11 | 1-5 | 6 | 7 |
| Kelsey Mitchell | IND | 30 | 27 | 8-16 | 3-8 | 3 | 3 |
| Aliyah Boston | IND | 29 | 19 | 9-14 | 1-3 | 4 | 11 |
| Sophie Cunningham | IND | 23 | 20 | 7-9 | 6-7 | 1 | 0 |
| A'ja Wilson | LV | 31 | 20 | 9-23 | 0-1 | 2 | 12 |
Clark also managed to make more WNBA history despite the minutes restriction.
Wilson had a strong night with 20 points and 12 rebounds, but there wasn't much offense for the Aces elsewhere. Jackie Young had 15 points, but no other Las Vegas player put up double figures.
With the win, the Fever moved to 14-9 on the season and are currently sitting in fifth place in the WNBA standings. The Aces fell to 17-7, bumping them to second place behind the Minnesota Lynx, but there's still plenty of season left for them to try to secure the top seed.
Indiana will be back in action on Wednesday when it faces Golden State, while Las Vegas will get a much-needed break before taking on Toronto on July 20.
