Dana White Reveals What Jon Jones Said to Him at Conor McGregor-Max Holloway UFC 329 Weigh-In
UFC president Dana White and Jon Jones didn't exchange much pleasantries when they crossed paths at the weigh-in for UFC 329.
Following Saturday's show, a reporter asked White about the interaction.
"He said, 'Hey your best friend's here,' at the weigh-ins when I saw him," he told the media (6:15 mark). "That was the extent of our conversation."

Jones accompanied Gable Steveson at the ceremonial weigh-in on Friday. As he was walking off the stage, he and White shook hands and had a brief exchange.
The former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion hasn't fought since his TKO of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November 2024. He retired in June 2025, only to say weeks later he re-entered the drug-testing pool.
This past March, Jones requested the UFC release him from his contract after he claimed there was a breakdown in negotiations over him potentially featuring on the promotion's Freedom 250 card at the White House.
In general, we're no closer to having any clarity on when Jones will fight again and for which company, and his appearance in Steveson's corner didn't hint at any change in the situation.
